I had a mixed experience at Poli House. The location is fantastic, right by the Carmel Market, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful. However, I found the room to be quite small for the price and that was disappointing. The rooftop bar could have been amazing, but service was lacking when I visited, which also detracted from my overall enjoyment.

Rooms
6.0
My room was quirky and clean, but it felt small, especially considering what I paid.
Service
6.0
While I loved the friendliness of the staff, my experience was marred by poor service at the rooftop bar, and an issue with management left a bad impression.
Location

The hotel is perfectly situated near cafes and the vibrant Carmel Market, making it easy to explore the city.
Dining

Breakfast wasn't at the hotel but at nearby cafes, and while that allowed for good options, it was a bit inconvenient not knowing this in advance.
Facilities

Although the pool and rooftop area looked great, these facilities weren't fully utilized during my stay, which was a bit disappointing.

My stay at Poli House By Afi Hotels was a mix of highs and lows. The location is fantastic, right next to the bustling Carmel Market, and the rooftop pool and bar offer stunning views. However, I encountered issues with the room size and impractical design elements, which were disappointing given the prices. Overall, while there were enjoyable aspects, the value for money was questionable.

Rooms
6.0
I was initially placed in a very small room, which was frustrating, but I requested a move and was accommodated in a much larger room. Despite its spaciousness, the room's layout and design were impractical, lacking essential hooks for hanging coats and towels, and without coffee-making facilities.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay, always eager to help despite some of their mistakes. They did apologize for the mix-ups but I felt rushed at times.
Location

The hotel is perfectly situated, just a short walk to the beach and only steps away from Carmel Market, making it easy to explore the local area. This central location is definitely a plus.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast options were limited and not particularly great, which was a letdown given the hotel's overall quality. I had expected more variety and better quality meals.
Facilities
6.0
The rooftop pool area is beautiful, although I was disappointed when I found out it was closed during my visit due to security reasons. The spa and other facilities could use some upkeep as well.

I had a really enjoyable stay at Poli House, with its charming atmosphere and fantastic location just a short walk from the beach and Carmel Market. The rooftop pool area was particularly lovely and a great place to unwind. However, I did encounter a few issues with room cleanliness and the reception being located on the top floor, which felt a bit inconvenient. Overall, it's a cozy boutique hotel that offers a unique experience of Tel Aviv.

Rooms
7.0
The room was nicely designed and fairly comfortable, although it had some cleanliness issues, like marks on the walls and dirty towels. I also found the balcony chairs uncomfortable for sitting.
Service

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially Olga, who genuinely enhanced my experience.
Location

The hotel's location is fantastic, with numerous restaurants and cafes around, along with easy access to the beach and market.
Dining

Breakfast options nearby were good, especially the fresh croissants from the cafe next door. However, I did find the hotel breakfast disappointing and not as advertised.
Facilities

The rooftop bar and pool provided a lovely atmosphere, although I wished the pool had been open during my visit due to security concerns.

Poli House has an very nice rooftop pool with stunning views, and its location is perfect for exploring Tel Aviv. However, the room I stayed in was smaller than expected and had some impractical design features. While the staff were friendly, the reception setup was a bit confusing and could be improved.

Rooms
6.0
I found my room to be smaller and less practical than I hoped. The bathroom design was particularly frustrating, with sloping shelves that couldn’t hold my cosmetics. Despite being clean and comfortable, it lacked some essential amenities like tea or coffee making facilities.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and helpful, but the reception setup was frustrating. I had to locate it on the third floor instead of the ground floor, which felt odd. There was also a lack of attentiveness at times.
Location

The location is absolutely fantastic, just steps from both Carmel Market and various restaurants. It made it easy to explore both the local culture and the beach within a short walk.
Dining

Breakfast at the nearby café was delicious and added value to my stay. However, be cautious during check-out as there seemed to be some issues with charges that I wasn’t made aware of beforehand.
Facilities

The rooftop pool area is lovely with plenty of seating although it can get crowded on weekends. The bar and lounge are great spots to relax, but I wish there was better room service for drinks at the pool.

I had a mixed experience at Poli House. The friendly staff and distinctive interior were highlights, and the rooftop bar provided a fun vibe. However, I found the breakfast offerings a bit disappointing, and the noise from the street made it hard to relax at times.

Rooms

My room was stylish and comfortable, though it was on the smaller side. I appreciated the nice touches like dressing gowns and slippers.
Service

The staff were genuinely helpful and friendly, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay.
Location

The hotel's location was wonderful, with lots of cafes and bars nearby, though it could be noisy at night.
Dining

Breakfast was served at a nearby café, but it didn't meet my expectations and felt limited compared to what I anticipated from the hotel.
